Jurgen Klopp insists that he is happy his team ahead of the new Premier League Season. His Liverpool center-backs top the League now.

Not Desperate to Get Players

Liverpool targets Virgil van Dijk earlier this summer. However, the Reds withdraws their interest when Southampton complained. Southampton revealed to the Premier League about the alleged illegal approach.

The 26-year-old player trains for the Southampton as his first team. Van Dijk did not play any part in the pre-season matches when he told Mauricio Pellegrino, his manager, that he wants to leave the club.

Happy with the Team

However, Klopp maintains his words that he is not desperate to bring in defensive recruits before the new league campaign kicks off. The team will be up against Watford on Saturday.

Liverpool wins against Athletic Bilbao with a score of 3-1 last weekend. Klopp challenges people to give him five names that would make his team stronger. He states that the winner will get a prize from him because naming the players is very difficult.

The manager thinks they cannot force things. Since they have four already, getting five will not get a center back immediately. However, he adds that the team is happy with the current situation.

No Bid Plans

Earlier this summer, Liverpool was rumored to reject a £11 million bid from Napoli for their player Alberto Moreno. Due to the series of mature pre-season displays from Moreno, Klopp has been impressed. The left back struggled for form during the last campaign.

Klopp also reveals that the team is already talking about signing. However, since Alberto Moreno has matured 100 percent, Liverpool decided to keep him.

Ryan Kent and Dom Solanke looked unbelievable after getting the notification from them. A lot of people expected for the bid. However, Liverpool decides to stay cool and just ignore everything. Liverpool will face Watford this coming August 12 at exactly 11:30 AM.
